Hey Rover Pet Products! We see a lot of buzz about your brand on social media, can you give us a run down on your business and what you do?

Hey hey! That’s honestly great to hear. We definitely try just to be ourselves on social media! Yeah of course! We’re a pet product manufacturer and also distributor! Our business is kinda split into two parts, we make personalised collars & leads and ortho bedding (yep, we sew too!), then we are also the exclusive distributors for Sodapup Dog Toys – a fantastic USA brand! We sell direct to consumer and supply lots of other pet stores!

How did you decide to venture into the pet industry?

This one’s easy, our little girl, Lulu – who we feature loads on our socials. We wanted the best products for her and honestly they just didn’t exist. Quality and pet products aren’t two things often that go together! Add Aussie Made and the list is even shorter!

We love that you’re Australian owned and made which is so hard to find these days, was this always your goal when starting out?

Thanks, right back at ya! To be fair, yes and no. It really wasn’t on our radar to offshore! That thought never crossed our mind, in our heads it just made sense to make here, better quality control, more reactiveness, owning the product and it’s entire design and manufacture process…local jobs…you name it!

Checking out your website and social media, your office looks like a lot of fun – do you bring your fur baby to work each day?

Our office is made SO much more fun by having our English Springer Spaniel at work! She’s a beautiful little princess who greets our customers!

What would you consider to be your most popular product?

Oh gosh, tough one! Definitely our bedding! No one else makes (including sewing) dog beds here anymore really, apart from us! We churn out quite a few too!

What is your favourite part about running your business?

Getting to spend time with Lulu has to be the best part!

And lastly, where do you see the business in 5 years?

We hope to have expanded further, with more employees, more products (Australian Made) and a larger online and physical presence across the nation!
